TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)—Little change is expected for Tropical Storm Lorenzo in the next few days, the National Hurricane Center said.

Located about 1,330 miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands, Lorenzo is moving toward the northwest at about 15 mph.

This northwest motion is expected to continue today before turning toward the north tonight.

"Tropical Storm Lorenzo is a complete 'fish storm, ' meaning it poses no threat to land. This system will stay in the open Atlantic, well away from the United States," Max Defender 8 Meterologist Juliana Mejia said.

A northeastward motion is expected on Wednesday and Thursday, the NHC said.

Maximum sustained winds are at about 60 mph.

According to the NHC, Little change in strength is forecast over the next few days, and Lorenzo is poorly organized over the central tropical Atlantic.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
