Sebastian Rogers: Missing teen's dad has renewed faith in investigation

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Sebastian Rogers' 16th birthday, the missing Sumner County boy's father said a recent meeting with law enforcement has restored his confidence in their case.

Sebastian Rogers' father: 'Keep your eyes open' for missing Tennessee teen

"Today, [law enforcement] have renewed my faith that they are definitely focusing on bringing my son home," Seth Rogers told NewsNation affiliate WKRN in an exclusive interview on Saturday, Dec. 7, but he didn't share details on what was said in the meeting.

Sebastian was last seen on Feb. 26 in Hendersonville, more than nine months ago.

The reward for information on Sebastian's whereabouts increased to $200,000 last month, but on Saturday night, Duane Chapman -- better known as "Dog the Bounty Hunter" -- announced on social media platform X that the reward was up to $225,155.

"I thank the public for the support that they are giving me and that they continue to. Keep your eyes open. You could be the next person that might see him," Seth pleaded.

Sebastian Rogers' father vows to never stop searching for missing Tennessee teen

Seth said he won't ever stop searching for his son and saying his son's name. He added that the pain of not knowing where Sebastian is fills him with grief.

"It's a lot of sadness every day...It's hard to wrap your head around it. Every day, it's like [you're waiting for] that phone call, waiting for that picture, waiting for information that my son has been found," he explained.

Seth said he fondly remembers birthdays with Sebastian jumping in the pool, having water balloon fights, and eating cake.

When asked what it’s like looking back on birthday memories, Seth answered, "I'm not done making them. Looking back is nice, but looking forward to him being back is better."

WKRN reached out to the Sumner County Sheriff's Office, who said Sebastian's case is still an active and ongoing investigation.
