(KRON) -- They took the hard way in, but the Golden State Warriors are officially in the playoffs after securing a spot in Tuesday's nail-biting win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The No. 7 seed Dubs (48-34) will face the No. 2 seed Houston Rockets (52-30) in the first round.
The Warriors went 3-2 against the Rockets during the regular season. Game 1 will be on Easter Sunday on April 20 in Houston. See the full series schedule below.
The last time these teams played in a playoff series was in 2019 when the Rockets' roster was much different. They were led by stars James Harden and Chris Paul. The Warriors won the series 4-2 in the Western Conference Semifinals.
The Warriors and Rockets also squared off in the 2018, 2016 and 2015 playoffs -- all series wins by Golden State.
