LOGAN, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - Utah State interim head football coach Nate Dreiling announced portions of USU’s signing class on Wednesday, as part of the NCAA Early Signing Day. The class, which includes 20 total players, is comprised of 17 high school athletes and three junior college transfers.
Of the 20 players, six will enroll at Utah State in January for the 2025 spring semester, and 10 are rated as a three-star recruit.
The state of Utah produced the most signees with 12, followed by two players from Oklahoma, and one player each from Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Washington and American Samoa.
Thirteen of Utah State’s signees are offensive players with five linemen, three tight ends, two running backs, one quarterback, one wide receiver and one offensive lineman/tight end. Of the seven defensive players that signed, three are linebackers, two are linemen and two are defensive backs.
The Aggies finished the 2024 season with a record of 4-8, and are expected to announce a permanent head coach in the coming weeks.
Utah State will announce its complete 2025 signing class on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
