49ers' Brandon Aiyuk back at training camp amid trade request

(FOX40.COM) — San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk was spotted at training camp on Wednesday despite a recent trade request.

After he appeared to be in good spirits on the sideline, the All-Pro receiver made his way to the team's headquarters to see general manager John Lynch, according to FOX40 sports reporter Sean Cunningham.

Aiyuk has been seeking a long-term deal with the 49ers, as he's entering the final year of his rookie contract.

The 49ers reportedly said they don't have any intention of trading Aiyuk.

Aiyuk earned Second Team All-Pro honors after recording a career-high 1,342 yards on 75 catches in 2023. The Rocklin-born receiver led the team in receptions and yards and tied for the most touchdown catches at seven.

Prior to his NFL career, Aiyuk played at Sierra College in 2016-17 where he was a Junior College All-American his sophomore season. He went on to become one of the Pac-12 top players at Arizona State University.
