GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — It was a busy afternoon at Canyon View Park.
All at once, Grand Junction and Fruita boys' lacrosse both found themselves within a goal in the 4th quarter.
GJ was once down 5-0 after the opening quarter, but battled back to tie it at 10 late with a beautiful shot from Gavin Mottram.
But Boulder had the response, scoring the go-ahead goal with under a minute to go and getting the win.
On the other side of Canyon View, Fruita went up 7-4 on Eagle Valley but the Devils battled back to tie it, then dominated the final quarter to get an 11-9 win.
