CMU Basketball Head Coach Mike DeGeorge leaving for D1 job

One day after the RMAC's Player of the Year Trevor Baskin announced his decision to transfer, the RMAC's Coach of the Year Mike DeGeorge has accepted the head coaching job at Cal Poly - a D1 program in the Big West.

.@Degeorgem is an incredible leader and motivator.

But he’s also an incredible guy. Always gracious, willing to talk.

He was the perfect leader for CMU and he’s going to be very difficult to replace.

Hope we see Cal Poly and DeGeorge make a run to the tourney.
