NASCAR doubleheader at L.A. Coliseum rescheduled due to inclement weather

NASCAR’s historic Busch Light Clash, set to be held at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, has been rescheduled due to the impending storm heading towards Southern California.

The doubleheader – consisting of the NASCAR Cup Series’ Busch Light Clash and the NASCAR Mexico Series’ King Taco LA Batalla – was originally supposed to take place on Sunday at 5 p.m. but has now been moved up a day to Saturday at 5 p.m.

Admission for Saturday’s activities remains free with limited fan services available, NASCAR officials said.

“Due to the threat of unprecedented severe weather on Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Mexico Series race events for the Clash have been moved to Saturday night,” NASCAR said in a statement. “We understand weather conditions may worsen as the day progresses, so we encourage fans to make decisions in the best interest of safety.”

Ticketholders will be contacted by NASCAR “in the days ahead” on next steps to accommodate for the races being moved up, officials confirmed.

Pre-paid Sunday parking passes purchased through ParkWhiz will be fully refunded.

The new schedule and refund updates will be available at www.nascarclash.com and @nascarclash on social media platforms.
