GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Not every year do we get a rematch in the state championship.
But this year - not only do we get a Western Slope showdown but we're getting a rematch between two of the best in the state.
But the last time these two went at it - on September 15th - it was the Delta Panthers who clobbered the Rifle Bears in a 28 to 7 road win.
But since that loss, this Bears team has been on a mission. A mission to get right here for a rematch.
And hindsight has shown them the importance of that loss.
