CMU's Olivia Reed named D-2 player of the week

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Can you say enough about Olivia Reed?
Not only was the sophomore from Windsor named D-II's overall Player of the Week but she was also named the RMAC's Defensive Player of the Week.
and that's because she has been thoroughly dominant on both sides of the ball so far for the undefeated Mavs.
Reed is a walking double-double, averaging 19.4 points per game to go along with 14.6 rebounds per game, and on defense, she has added eight steals and eight blocks this season - not too shabby for the reigning RMAC Freshman of the Year.
Meanwhile, theRMAC's defending Defensive Player of the Year - Mac "The steal-machine" Riniker, was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week after averaging four steals per game to start the year - a mark that ranks third in all of Div-II.

Folks, CMU has got stars on the hardwood.
