GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — It was a night of wins for the Warriors.
Central took down Fruita in a doozy of a volleyball match 3-2 at home. But in softball it wasn't as close. Central dominated the Tigers of Grand Junction on CMU's field 11 to 3.
Fruita soccer was also in action today at beautiful Canyon View Park against Montrose. Wildcats' forward Carter Thomas grabbed a huge goal on a header which gave Fruita a 2-1 lead in half two. But the Red Hawks got one late to tie at 2, and that's how it would end.
