Residents around Chicagoland cast their ballots in several key races on Tuesday.
Municipal elections took place in the suburbs, headlined by the Aurora mayoral race where incumbent Richard Irvin was in a runoff with John Laesch.
Incumbent Evanston Mayor Daniel Biss also faced a challenge from Jeff Boarini.
Dolton chose a new mayor after current Mayor Tiffany Henyard lost a primary to Jason House. He’s faced off against Casundra Hopson-Jordan.
