Biden's decline widely reported in final days of presidency

(NewsNation) — White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was not asked about a scathing report from the Wall Street Journal on President Joe Biden's health during his presidency on Friday.

Jean-Pierre held a press briefing at the White House wherein many questions centered around a possible federal government shutdown.

The Wall Street Journal interviewed nearly 50 people, including those with direct knowledge of the situation.

In the report, White House aides admitted to Biden having "good days" and "bad days" and making attempts to manage his cognitive "limitations" while in office.

It comes days after a New York Times report where President Biden was observed to be "a little older and a little slower with each passing day."

In the Times report, Biden's position in the White House was described as now merely "a national afterthought."
