Two incoming CMU Mavs headed to Paris

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — We are counting down the days to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as there are less than three weeks to go before the opening ceremonies on July 26th.
After learning that CMU Maverick Olivia Cummins has qualified for Team USA Cycling for Paris 2024, two more Mavs have punched their tickets to Paris.

First, the inspiring incoming CMU freshman Emma Meyers will be competing in the Paralympic Triathlon for Team USA.

Meyers, who runs, bikes and swims with a prosthetic leg is set to become the first para-athlete to compete in varsity collegiate triathlon at the NCAA level this fall when she suits up for the Mavs.
And in the pool, headed to Paris this summer is incoming maverick Harry Stacey who was named one of two swimming entries for Team Ghana at the Paris Olympics this summer.
